# KING Treasury The KING Treasury provides support to the KING Insurance Fund (KIF), in the event of an extreme price drop in the $KING token. KING Treasury is also used for massive marketing campaigns, new KING developments and investments. The Treasury plays a very important role in King's KAP protocol. It provides many extremely critical functions for the growth and sustainability of KING.
